Clarity Service Policies
Effective as of March 1, 2008
Disclaimer: To protect the client and the company, we have provided a general outline of our basic service policies. These may be altered as agreed upon on a case-by-case basis but are a good point of reference for new clients.
Section 1: Signing On
1.1 Agreement
Before the creative process begins, all the terms of the service including the services to be provided, timeframe for the project, information needed from the client, the total cost of the project, the payment schedule, etc. must be agreed to by the client and representative of Clarity Multimedia.
1.2 Contract
A contract for the service agreement between the client and company representative will be provided upon request of the client. We do not generate contracts for the service agreement unless requested but are happy to provide one.
Section 2: Payments
2.1 Deposit
Unless otherwise agreed upon, we take a deposit between 30% and 50% of the final cost of the project (depending on the size and needs of the project) before we begin the service. This will be discussed before any final agreement (1.1) is made.
2.2 Final Payment
Once the project is complete, the client is responsible to provide full compensation for the services completed.
2.3 Late Payment
If the payment for the project is not paid within 30 days of completion, an interest charge of 10% of the final price will be added to the payment.
2.4 Hosting Payments
Our hosting can be paid by six month or one year periods. Hosting payments not received on time will lead to the downtime of the website it hosts.
Section 3: Creative Process
3.1 Meetings
The client has the right to request meetings to discuss project details and collaborate within reason during the project timeframe.
3.2 Timeframes
Before work is started, a timeframe will be established for the completions of the project. This timeframe will be the official date of completion as long as the client delivers the necessary information to do the project in the time requested by the designer. If this is not accomplished, timeframes may have to change.
3.3 Changes
The project details are agreed to in full before the project begins. Clarity Multimedia has the right to add reasonable compensation to the final price for changes to the original details of the project. This applies to dynamic changes only and not small formatting changes.
Section 4: Post Service
4.1 Post service contacting
Clarity holds the right to contact the client within reason after the service has been completed and paid for to tell about other services and company updates. These contacts will be stopped upon request from the client.
4.2 Post service work
Any work done to make addition to the project is subject to charge. These charges would still be within reason to the applicable service requested.
